The Lapland Robotics seminar took place in Teams on Wednesday 3.11. The seminar was attended by 31 participants at best. There was a wide variety of topics on robotics, and we had guest lecturers Bastian Pfleging and Kirsikka Kaipainen. Topics that were covered included self-driving cars, robots as social actors, and how design can be combined with robotics. Moreover, the seminar covered a review of the present state of robotics in Lapland and included a presentation of the robotics laboratory at Lapland University of Applied Sciences.
